It’s Summer Salad time. Everything is coming in gangbusters. In the past few weeks, the tomatoes started to ripen and yesterday we picked over a quart of these multi-colored beauties. Pink Princesses were the first to come in, now followed by Mountain Magic. The Paul Robesons and Orange Bananas are not far behind. We are harvesting our fourth crop of greens (I just planted the fifth) and there is lots of purslane to sprinkle in. The radishes are almost depleted but a new crop should be ready to eat in a week. We are pulling at least one pepper each day, which is a tasty addition to the mix. A topping of blue cheese, which is the only thing not created by me, makes it complete. Yum!
