On a trip like this there are more photos than we can use for a single post. (Or I forget to use one or Ted forgets to send it to me.) Here a few photographs that we want to share with you.
Show me the lobster: These colorful lobster pot markers are an example of not really knowing all the details of how things sometimes get done. Each marker is unique by lobsterman and is marked and registered.
Majestic blue: Every day we see at least one great blue heron. They fly overhead in a distinctive crouch or stalk unwary fish motionless in the water until they find a meal.
They call it poutine:Ted and I discovered, much to our delight, a Canadian dish called poutine. Poutine is french fries topped with cheese curds, brown gravy and sometimes other ingredients. Ted had it one morning with eggs on top and we shared a bowl one day for lunch. It is delicious but often too large in portion. It is shown here with oyster tacos and a delicious local beer.
