Though I have retired from Ann’s Place, I still have my hands in the horticultural therapy loam. I will be teaching an on-line course on Tuesday, May 7, 10-12 am, eastern time, on the topic of horticultural therapy as well as therapeutic horticulture. It is being sponsored by UConn’s Master Gardener Classes. In it I will discuss my experiences being a therapist, the different groups I have worked with, examples of sessions by season, and tricks of the trade in running therapy classes for groups and individuals. If you are so inclined and/or have the time, there are still spaces available on the Master Gardener website . Perhaps I will see a few of you there.
