Lovely lavender

I have finally found a lavender cultivar (๐ฟ๐‘Ž๐‘ฃ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘‘๐‘ข๐‘™๐‘Ž ๐‘–๐‘›๐‘ก๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘š๐‘’๐‘‘๐‘–๐‘Ž ‘๐‘ƒโ„Ž๐‘’๐‘›๐‘œ๐‘š๐‘’๐‘›๐‘Ž๐‘™’) that takes the abuse of our Winters and snow plows. It sits perky and bushy next to a line of daffodils (๐‘๐‘Ž๐‘Ÿ๐‘๐‘–๐‘ ๐‘ ๐‘ข๐‘  โ€˜๐พ๐‘–๐‘›๐‘” ๐ด๐‘™๐‘“๐‘Ÿ๐‘’๐‘‘โ€™ ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘‘ โ€˜๐ผ๐‘๐‘’ ๐น๐‘œ๐‘™๐‘™๐‘–๐‘’๐‘ โ€™) along the fence that protects one of our gardens from marauding deer, rabbits, woodchucks and other creatures that would feast on my vegetables and fruits. Grabbing one of its fragrant stems, its scent is thick and comforting. Another sign that Spring is here.
